Where Can I Find Replacement Vinyl Window Screens?

Asked By SunnyDaze34 On

I installed vinyl windows about 15 years ago, and over time, I've had some issues. A few screens have gotten ripped or lost, and the little plastic finger tabs that help with installation and removal broke on the first try. This has made it a hassle to take the screens on and off. I'm curious if anyone knows where I can buy replacement screens, or if they only come with the window units themselves?

If your frame is still in good shape, you might want to consider making your own screens! New ones can be pretty pricey. All you'll need is the screen material, the right size rubber spline, and a spline roller tool. Just remove the old spline and screen, and then it's super easy to install the new ones. They end up looking great!

I've tried that too, but I'm specifically after those little tabs! They seem to break so easily.
