Hi everyone! I'm renting the bottom floor of a two-story house, and my landlord lives above me. We had our gas meters replaced back in December, and since then, my gas usage has skyrocketed to more than double what I usually pay for this time of year. I have a feeling that I might be getting charged for both my usage and my landlord's. National Grid won't send anyone to check the meters until August, and when I ask my landlord about his gas bills, he's quite evasive—saying things like he pays by check and doesn't keep the bills or have an online account, so he can't tell me what he pays. I've spent hours on the phone with National Grid but have hit a brick wall. Does anyone know how to read these meters to see if my suspicions are correct? Thanks so much for your help!
