I've got some fine cracks in my walls that remain stable when pushed. I'm wondering if using a thicker indoor paint would help cover them up. Or should I take a different approach before I go ahead and paint? Thanks for any advice!

Yeah, totally agree! Filling the cracks first will give you a much better result. Those thicker paints are great, but they won't fix the cracks on their own.
