Hey everyone! I'm trying to choose between the M12 Fuel and M18 Fuel hammer drill and impact driver kit for my DIY projects around the house. I've been reading that a lot of pros prefer the M12 because of its lightweight design, to the point that they only use the M18 when they really need the extra power. As a homeowner, I have a few considerations:
1. Pros have tons of tools, so they can pick what they need; I only have a few, so would it make sense to go for the M18 to avoid running into power issues?
2. I won't be using the drill daily like a pro, so the weight of the tools might not be as much of a concern for me.
3. A lot of Milwaukee's outdoor tools are M18, so I'd already have the batteries if I went that route.
What do you all think? Is the M18 overkill for a homeowner like me, or should I stick with the M12?
