I've had three plants in my indoor garden die from these pesky white mealybugs. I've tried using neem oil, but it hasn't made a difference. Can anyone suggest effective methods for getting rid of mealybugs?

If your plants are indoors, I strongly recommend systemic pesticides like Bonide's granules. You need to treat all your plants at once and regularly for several months. Make sure to keep any edible plants stored away because mealybugs love to thrive on organic material. Just be cautious because these pesticides can harm beneficial insects if used outside.
You might want to use a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol to wipe away the bugs you can see. It might take some persistence, but it's usually quite effective! Some people also recommend adding systemic granules to your plants for longer-lasting results.
