I'm in a similar boat. I'm off for a week soon and have some potted plants that might need relocating. If they're waiting for landscaping and will be in full sun for part of the day, should I put them in deep shade instead?
Absolutely! It's a good idea to water your plants thoroughly and then move them to a shadier spot to protect them from the heat while you're gone.
