Tips for Removing Soap Bubbles from My Indoor Fountain

Asked By ConcreteCrafter99 On

I've built an indoor fountain and accidentally used soapy water to clean the concrete blocks. Since concrete is quite porous, it's caused a bunch of bubbles in the fountain water. I spent about 8 hours on this project, and I really don't want to take it apart if I don't have to! I'm considering emptying the water and replacing it with fresh water for now, but I'm open to any suggestions on how to deal with these bubbles. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

One option is to get a small fountain pump, cost around $10, that can help recirculate the water into a bucket. From there, you can run a hose back to the fountain and flush it until the bubbles disappear. This should really help clear things up!

Will definitely try that with the current water! I’m also thinking of adding vinegar like someone mentioned. Thanks for the idea!
