Hey everyone, I recently dropped off my 12.0 Forge battery at an Authorized Tool Repair store called Cooper Electric in NJ, which I thought would be a reliable option. I called them today to check on the status of my battery and got the run-around. They told me it was probably sent out, but I wasn't getting any solid information. When I called Milwaukee directly and provided the battery's serial number, they said they didn't have it for repair either. I dropped it off on April 9, 2025, and I'm really upset that I haven't received any updates from either Cooper Electric or Milwaukee. Has anyone else had similar problems with repairs like this?

It sounds like they owe you a new battery! If you're going to send it in for repairs in the future, I recommend using Milwaukee's website. They provide a free shipping label, and my experience has been that my batteries are usually back with me in about 10 days. In one case, they just sent me a replacement battery without any hassle.
I had a great experience with Milwaukee's website for my M12 6.0 warranty replacements. No issues, and I got my replacements in less than 10 business days. Totally smooth process!
I've had a similar issue with Cooper Electric in NY. They claim to be an authorized repair center, but when I tried to drop off something for warranty, they gave me a hard time about needing to wait for a large batch of tools to send out. They really dropped the ball on customer service in my experience.

I was a bit hesitant to handle sending in my battery myself due to shipping restrictions, but I'll definitely consider it next time!
