I'm considering buying a house and during the home inspection, they found that the well's flow rate is only 2.5 gallons per minute (GPM). The good news is that the pump is new. I'm a bit unsure about what to do next—should I be concerned about this flow rate? Any advice?

The flow rate is definitely important! If it's measuring 2.5 GPM at a faucet, that's usually okay. However, you should also check the water pressure and make sure the pressure switch is configured right. Don't forget to ensure the tank is properly primed!
