Hey everyone! I just got a brand new jobsite saw from Einhell, but I've noticed that when I adjust the height, the blade starts to wobble significantly. I'm worried this might affect my ability to make precise 90-degree cuts. Is this kind of issue typical for cheaper jobsite saws? Should I return it for a replacement, and if so, would this be covered under warranty? Here's a video showing the wobble: [Watch here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzT42GGNvds)

It sounds like your saw might be a bit off. I've heard that sometimes, with budget saws, they can be at 90° during certain wheel rotations. You might want to mark the top and bottom positions of the wheel and stick to those when adjusting the height. If the blade's wobble isn't too bad side-to-side, it could be usable for a jobsite saw. But if the wobble is significant when adjusting, returning it is probably the best move, especially given you paid around $500. Make sure to check how the blade aligns with the fence, as a big wobble there indicates a bigger issue! Good luck!
Thanks for clarifying! By side-to-side, I meant checking if the blade is consistently aligned with the fence. Hopefully, it’s just the wobble you’re seeing, and everything else is fine!
My cheap saw cuts bevels and 90-degree angles nearly perfectly. This definitely shouldn't be the norm even for less expensive models. If it’s wobbling that much, I’d be surprised if that’s typical for your model!
My jobsite saw has a similar issue! I think it's just a design flaw in these budget models. The suggestion to find a fixed position for the height adjustment sounds solid—just stick to that. You shouldn’t have to deal with a wobbly blade, especially at that price!

Yeah, if you notice a huge misalignment with the fence, definitely consider a return!
