Hey everyone! I'm helping my friend with some sanding work on painted cedar siding and drywall mud, and we also need something to vacuum leaves and dirt from outside drains. My current shop vacuum is way too large to transport in a car, so I'm trying to find a good option for my friend to buy. I found a deal on a Dewalt 8-gallon wet/dry vacuum at Costco. What do you all think about it? Are there any other cheaper or better models you could recommend? We're located in Brooklyn, NY. Thanks for the help!

I can recommend the Dewalt 6-gallon Stealthsonic. I've seen it for around $80 at Lowe's, and it’s surprisingly quiet while still having a lot of suction power. I own both a 6-gallon and a 16-gallon model, and they work great!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely check it out.

This is the way. I have two Stealthsonic vacs, and I really dislike using anything else now.
