Hey everyone! I'm going to check out a Delta DP220 drill press soon. The current owner claims everything works perfectly, but I want to know what specific things I should be looking for in terms of potential replacements or issues. He's asking for $100, which I want to confirm is a fair price. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The DP220 is a solid choice! I'd suggest you inspect for any cracks in the castings and check the spindle runout. Make sure the quill spring returns correctly and take a look at any pulley wear caused by the belt. Don't forget to listen for any weird sounds from the bearings and test that the handles adjust smoothly. As for the price, $100 seems reasonable, depending on the drill's overall condition. Good luck with your purchase!

Thanks for the tips! The owner sent me a video of it. I believe it has an adjustable table, but I'm not sure if that’s a standard feature. I mostly plan to use it for woodworking and occasionally for some metal work, like drilling holes in old Cub Cadet driveshafts.
