Hey everyone! I'm a huge fan of Dewalt tools and I've pretty much got everything I need but, you know how it is—it's never about necessity, it's more about the want (even if I disguise it as a need!). My brother is currently in LA for two weeks while I'm back in France, and I've asked him to pick up some tools (excluding batteries, please!). I'm looking for recommendations on where he can find good deals. Specifically, I'm interested in getting a compact router, a biscuit jointer, a compact circular saw, some blades, and maybe a hydraulic impact (I heard it has a 'shhhh' mode). Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

The hydraulic impact tool you mentioned is super quiet—I’d recommend it if that’s a priority for you! By the way, if you're considering another circular saw, I just got the DCS577 worm drive, and it's seriously the best cordless saw out there! It's a little on the larger side and hefty (about 12 pounds without the battery), but I’m thrilled with it. Just a heads up, there are also flea markets in LA where you might find discounted tools, but be cautious as some could be stolen or mishandled. You could also shop online for better prices and warranty options, but I’m unsure about service from abroad.
