Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a frustrating situation with my neighbors who let their dog pee by our apartment's door on the second floor. This is causing damage to the wood and even makes its way down to the stairs. We've had a couple of close calls where we've almost gotten peed on as we come home. We've mentioned this to our landlord, but it seems like they don't take it seriously. On top of that, the dog is often let loose and poops all over the front and back yard. If moving out were an option, I'd do it in a heartbeat, but that's not possible right now. Any advice on how to handle this?

You should try using a pump sprayer with peppermint essential oil. It really helps discourage dogs from going in certain areas. Just be careful about soaking the wood too much!
I think you should definitely confront them about this! Maybe even consider putting some of their dog's mess right on their porch as a statement. That might get them to pay attention!

Thanks for the tip, I’ll definitely give that a shot!
