I've got a peony bush that only has one bud left after dealing with a spider mite infestation. It's been about five days since I last treated it with neem oil, and I'm still seeing signs of mites. I did trim it back, possibly not correctly, and I'm wondering if I need to trim it more to encourage more blooms. Should I just enjoy this one bloom, or is there a way to encourage more flowers?

Honestly, peonies can be tough! If it's not thriving now, you might need to wait until next year to see better growth. Unfortunate, but that's how they can be sometimes.
