Hi everyone! I'm looking to replace the kitchen faucet in my stainless steel sink (specifically a Kohler Double Basin) with a high rise model, the Kohler Sous R10651-SD-VS. I've read that high rise faucets can sometimes wobble and potentially damage the sink, so I'm wondering if a Kitchen Faucet Stabilization Plate would be enough to keep it steady. The product I've been considering is linked here. Alternatively, do I need to add plywood support, or are there other solutions I should consider?

It really depends on your countertop. If your stainless sink is sitting on a solid surface like granite, stone, or quartz, you probably won’t need extra support. But if your countertop is laminate or wood, then adding some support would be a smart move.
Some stainless sinks do flex a bit when you install a pull-down or gooseneck faucet. I’d suggest starting with the stabilization plate you mentioned, but keep in mind you might want to add a plywood strip underneath just in case for extra support!
