How Can I Improve the Look of This Trim?

I'm currently renovating my space and working with a contractor for the first time. We had a piece of glass for a transom window, and I told him that if the glass was too tall, he could adjust the opening size and we'd get new glass if needed. However, I wasn't specific enough about how this would affect the trim design at the top. While everyone I've asked thinks it looks fine, it's been bothering me a bit. I'm looking for suggestions on how to enhance the appearance of the trim, or do you think it looks good as is? Here's a link to the image for reference: https://imgur.com/a/lINpVmK

What stands out to me is the lack of continuity in the trim pattern across the top. The header trim should definitely be cut at a 45-degree angle to match the side casings. Everything else looks really good. And that glass is a fantastic touch!

A good way to elevate the look is by creating a rectangle shape with half-round molding set in about an inch from the edge. Honestly, it looks pretty decent as it is, but that little tweak could add some more character to it.
