How Do I Properly Apply OSMO UV Oil?

I'm trying to apply OSMO UV oil and I'm a bit confused about the process. Should I wipe off the first coat after 15 minutes, or is that unnecessary? Also, if I do need to wipe it, how should I handle any ridges that might form?

Hey! When applying OSMO UV oil, you actually don't need to wait a specific time to wipe off the excess. Just put on a good amount with a rag or roller, and then use a dry rag to wipe off what you don't need. Make sure to wait until it’s fully dry before you do a light sanding with some 180 to 240 grit sandpaper, depending on how worn your paper gets. Just repeat that for the second coat and let it be after it's dry!

Yeah, I agree with Sandy! Just apply generously and don’t stress too much about the timing. Give it a good wipe off afterward. If you notice any ridges after the first coat, a quick sand will help smooth those out before the second coat. Got to keep it looking slick!
