Need Help with Inverter and Generator Power Quality Issues

I've got a solar inverter that also connects to a 120V input in my RV, which I usually keep plugged into my generator. I recently tested it out for the first time, and my 3-D printer—being the most modern device I have—told me that it's receiving "dirty power," with fluctuations in both frequency and voltage. I assumed the inverter would clean that up for me, but it seems like it's just passing the incoming power directly. Does anyone know of a 30A device that can condition the line power to ensure it's clean? I want something that not only conditions but also surge-protects and shuts off if the power goes way out of whack. When I search online, I mostly find just basic surge protectors and nothing more advanced. Alternatively, I guess I could just run the generator with basic appliances until it's more stable, but I want to make sure everything gets proper, clean power.

What model is your inverter? If you let us know, we might be able to help identify if it has that power conditioning feature you're after. It could save you the hassle of looking for additional devices.

It's an ExpertPower inverter; I'm checking to see if it can do what I need.

It sounds like you're looking for an inverter with a generator assist feature. Brands like Victron and Magnum are great options for RV setups—they help provide consistent 120V output regardless of what power you're using. Definitely worth checking out!

I had a similar issue, and the Victron has worked wonders for me. It stabilizes the output really well.
