How Can I Fix This Stubborn Doorknob Without Screws?

Hey everyone, I need a hand with a doorknob situation. I have several matching doorknobs upstairs, which are pretty standard with two visible screws for adjustments. However, one of them is driving me crazy! It looks just like the others, but I can't access the screws. Instead, there's this copper-colored plate that covers them, and I can't find any way to adjust or remove it. I've even tried to tighten it, but no luck. Is there any trick to getting this doorknob off or at least fixing it? Here's a picture for reference: https://imgur.com/a/DInPM2Y

Have you checked if that top plate can spin? It might be hiding the screws underneath. Sometimes they can get turned around a bit. Just give it a gentle twist and see if anything moves.

I’ve tried everything I can to rotate the plate without breaking the doorknob.

You might want to try rotating the escutcheon, which is that round part with the holes. It could reveal the screw heads or even let you access that brass plate. Then you could use a screwdriver to turn it and uncover the screws.

I've tried that too, but it just won't budge at all.
