I'm looking to buy a new router and I'm torn between the DeWalt Max XR 20V 2-1/4 HP and the M18 version from Milwaukee. I expected to see some discounts on these models for Memorial Day. Do these routers usually go on sale during this time? Also, since I'm already using the Milwaukee battery system, is it worth switching to the DeWalt router, despite having to invest in their battery system? I don't plan on adding more DeWalt tools to my collection.

The DeWalt router is fantastic! I've been using the corded Bosch for ages but picked up the DeWalt during Christmas sales when they had a promotion at Home Depot. I even got a free battery along with the bare tool! If you can snag a good deal, it’s definitely worth it.
Was this the plunge router or the trim router?
