Where Can I Find an 8AWG Solar Connector Crimping Tool Set?

I recently purchased a solar crimping tool set from Amazon, but I didn't realize until after the fact that it's only compatible with wire sizes 10AWG and smaller. Now I'm on the hunt for a set that specifically supports 8AWG wire, which I need for my setup. I'm looking for a complete kit that includes plastic connectors, metal parts, and the crimping tool. Does anyone know where I can find an 8AWG version?

If you really need to use 8AWG for your distance, you could try trimming a few strands from the wire until it fits into your 10AWG tool. But keep in mind that doing that might basically downgrade your wire back to 10AWG, which might not be safe!

Just curious, what's your setup like that requires 8AWG? I wonder if there's a different solution you might consider for your distance, especially since you mentioned having a 100-foot run to your inverter.

I haven’t come across any complete kits specifically for 8AWG, but I did find a crimper that can handle it. You might want to check this crimping tool out (link included), but be cautious with buying connectors from Amazon. They often sell thinner connectors that can overheat, which isn’t ideal for a solar setup. It’s better to go with a more reputable site if you can.
