I have an indoor closet door that's made of cardboard, and my kids accidentally loosened the screws of the hinge by slamming it shut. When I removed the hinges to fix it, I found that the screw holes are stripped and full of cardboard fluff. I tried using longer screws, but since the door is hollow inside, that didn't work. Is there a DIY solution to repair it without having to buy a new door?

You might want to try inserting some toothpicks along with wood glue into the stripped holes. Once the glue dries, you can reattach the screws, and it should give you a sturdier hold. It's a simple hack that often works well for these types of repairs!
I hate to say it, but it might be tougher than it seems. Some people have had luck using glue-soaked toilet paper to fill the holes. It might actually end up stronger once dried. But, if it doesn't work, getting a new door might be your best bet in the long run.

This is a great idea, I don't know why I didn't think of it. Thanks, I'll try!
