I've noticed that ticks are really bad this year in Southwest Ohio. Whether I'm hiking or just spending time in my garden, it seems like everyone I know is dealing with them. I've found ticks on me twice already from working around my raised beds. I'm curious—what are some effective strategies for treating gardens and keeping ticks at bay?

Be careful with tick sprays! They can harm other insects too. I suggest wearing protective clothing and checking yourself after working in the garden. If you're up for it, treating your clothes with Permethrin can be a good strategy, though I've kept it simple by just checking for ticks without any extra treatments.
