Hey everyone! I'm considering buying an M18 tire inflator to keep in my truck for emergencies. I'm curious about how well these inflators actually work and if they are as effective as traditional inflators. Also, I'd like to know how long they typically run on a battery. If I get a flat tire on my pickup, will one battery be enough to fill it, or should I plan on having extras on hand?

You can definitely fill a couple of flat tires with a 5.0 Ah battery! Pro tip: get a quick clip air chuck so you won’t have to mess with screwing it onto the valve stem. It makes the whole process a lot easier!
Same here. Love it.
As a plumber who uses the M18 inflator for testing pipes, I can confidently say it’s incredible! You won’t need more than one fully charged 5.0 Ah battery to fill a truck tire. In fact, you could fill several tires on just one charge. I highly recommend it—such a great tool!
Thank you for the info, I appreciate it!
If you want to see how it compares to other options, check out Project Farm’s video on cordless inflators. I’ve used mine mainly for topping off and a quirky job blowing out water from an irrigation line, and it works great! Happy to have it around when needed.
Thanks! I just watched it and definitely will be getting it now.
I picked up this deal recently that came with two 6.0 XC batteries and a free inflator. It’s a solid package if you're looking to stock up on batteries too!
That’s not a bad deal.

Awesome! Thanks for the info!
