I'm in planting zone 5a and I have some seeds and Bonnie veggie plants ready to go in the ground. However, we're expecting six consecutive days of rain starting tomorrow. Should I wait until after the rain to plant them? I don't have much experience and I really want to avoid any unnecessary work or waste!

It really depends on what you’re planting. Generally, most seeds should handle the rain just fine, as long as they don’t get washed away. Just keep in mind which plants love wet conditions and which ones don’t! What types are you putting in the ground?
Honestly, I love planting things right before a good rain! The natural watering is great, plus it keeps the soil nice and moist. I say go for it; your plants should do just fine! Just hope it doesn’t turn into a deluge!
