I'm wondering if pruning my jade plant is necessary and if so, where should I cut? Any tips on how to do it properly would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah, jade plants can really handle a lot of pruning and can get quite large! It sounds like yours is healthy, so you might only need to trim it back if it starts getting leggy. Just keep in mind your goals, like making it bigger or maintaining its shape.

It's not strictly necessary to prune jade plants, but it can help keep them compact and promote growth. If you do decide to prune, wait until after the last frost and then cut back any leggy growth or leaves that are looking unhealthy. Just make sure to use clean, sharp scissors to avoid damaging the plant.

Thanks for the tip! I'll wait until it warms up and then give it a go.
