What’s the Best Setup for a 220V Well Pump and Softener System?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on what I need to set up a 220V 1.5 HP well pump along with a water softener system. I'm located in South Florida. I want to know if it makes a difference whether I run the pump on 120V or 220V—I'm open to wiring it either way. I know the basics, but I could really use some expert opinions on this!

You'll need a solid inverter to handle your 220V needs. I'm assuming you might also want batteries to keep everything running smoothly, especially during the night. Is this pump the only thing you'll be using? Given how hot it gets in Florida, you might also want to consider your AC needs too.

I mainly just want the pump and water softener running on solar. I've got a 50-amp sub panel in my pump house that feeds into the main panel. Planning to put a solar panel on the roof of the well house.
