I've got some pictures of my walls, and I'm trying to figure out if they're made of drywall, sheetrock, plaster, or something different. Here are the images: Pic 1: https://i.postimg.cc/zvD9CkX5/20250520-120707.jpg, Pic 2: https://i.postimg.cc/5NCmPCYM/20250520-120716.jpg, Pic 3: https://i.postimg.cc/0NMmQgY1/20250520-120728.jpg, Pic 4: https://i.postimg.cc/28S1yRY9/20250520-120744.jpg. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Looks like most folks are saying drywall for pic 1. That's pretty common, especially for renovations. Should make any future fixes easier on the wallet!
If you're ever in doubt, try poking a push pin into the wall. If it goes in easily, it’s likely drywall. If it's tough, you might be dealing with plaster. Based on that, it sounds like pics 2 and 3 have plaster since you couldn't get a pin in.
That’s a solid tip! I tried it and you’re right, looks like those are plaster. Thanks for the heads up!
From your pics, it seems like you have drywall in pics 1 and 2, while pics 3 and 4 are probably plaster over drywall. It can get tricky with older homes, but that matches what I’ve seen in mine too!

Thanks! That’s a relief.
