I recently discovered a dead mouse in my watering can that I found in my parents' gardening supplies outside. I'm curious if it's still safe to use, and what the best way to clean it would be. On a more spiritual level, I'm worried that the 'death energy' in the can might affect my plants. Could using this can somehow transfer that energy to them, or am I just overthinking it?

You can definitely still use the watering can after rinsing it out. Just avoid using it for drinking water. Your plants are tough and won't be bothered by it. Remember, they're thriving in soil that's rich with organic matter, including dead stuff!
I get the feeling of something being 'tainted' by death, but that's just part of nature. The nutrients from decomposition actually help your plants grow! If you still feel weird about it though, no harm in getting a new watering can. Gardening should be enjoyable!

Exactly! Plants are great recyclers. They thrive on decomposed matter. I read about how salmon helps with nitrogen for plants. It’s all part of the cycle, and your plants will appreciate any nutrients they can get. Just think of the mouse as a little nutrient boost!
