I'm trying to decide whether to invest in the 3.5 PowerStack for my 8.0 PowerPack battery. I noticed the 3.5 PowerStack is quite pricey compared to the 5.0 model. Can anyone shed some light on why it's so expensive and if it's worth the money?

The 3.5 PowerStack is pretty new on the market, and people are still figuring out potential benefits. It's designed to address some issues that existed with the 5.0 PowerStack, so you're paying more for the latest tech in hopes it resolves those problems. It might just offer better performance especially if you’re using it for demanding tasks like deck building.
I’ve noticed the size difference too! The 3.5 is more compact, which makes it easier to handle, especially for long projects.
Prices for the 3.5 are likely high right now due to early demand from folks eager to try it out. It's expected that once the hype dies down, the price will stabilize. This new model should theoretically provide better battery life and power compared to smaller options, making it a solid choice for heavy-duty tasks without the bulk of the 5.0.

Gotcha! But what were the main issues with the 5.0? I’ve been pretty happy with mine, just curious!
