Hi everyone! I'm reaching out because I'm having a serious issue with deer ruining my garden. I live in an apartment complex with a small patio in zone 6b, and I've spent three years cultivating above-ground garden beds filled with tomatoes, marigolds, zinnias, pansies, and more. Until recently, deer have never been a problem, but now they seem to be munching on everything! Each morning, I find my garden ravaged – the tomatoes are losing leaves, and my sunflowers are reduced to mere stems. I've tried using garlic, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper to deter them, but it only works for a short time. I'm really looking for any suggestions or advice you might have to help me keep these pests away. I'm at my wit's end!

I went with a physical barrier solution and installed a 6' fence around my garden. It's been super effective in keeping the deer out! If you can, I highly recommend making a fence part of your defense plan.
I've had great success with a product called "Deer Out". Just make sure to keep up with reapplying it regularly. So far this year, my little orchard hasn’t faced any deer damage, and I'm relieved after losing some young apple trees last year! Definitely something to try!
While I haven’t tried this yet, I've heard good things about using a wireless deer fence. A couple of friends told me it can really work, and it's on my to-do list for this summer. If you're interested, check out wirelessdeerfence.com.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely look into that option.
