Hey everyone! My J channel is chipping away, and I'm looking for alternatives that I can use without having to pull back my vinyl siding. I've been tempted to just attach some PVC right over it since it's quite an eyesore. Any suggestions?

Or you could refer to specific pages in your PVC product catalogs for more options. Sometimes those resources have great alternatives that don’t require a lot of rework.
You might want to look into PVC options that come with a built-in J channel pocket. Most PVC brands have these available, so it's worth checking out! That way, you won't need to mess with your existing siding too much.
Thanks for the suggestions! Quick question though: if I go with these alternatives, do I still need to remove the old J channel, or can I just go over it?
