I received a Milwaukee backpack sprayer as a Father's Day gift over a year ago. I only started using it this spring, and after mixing my chemicals and filling it, it worked perfectly for about 5 minutes before suddenly stopping. It seems like it lost its prime, but everything appears to be sealed. Unfortunately, I don't have a receipt to process a warranty claim, and I'm not sure how to resolve this issue. I was really looking forward to using the sprayer so I wouldn't have to do all that pumping manually. This has been such a disappointment, considering I have a lot of Milwaukee tools and have never had problems before. If anyone knows how I can get it fixed or any troubleshooting tips, I'd really appreciate it!

Have you checked if the sprayer is clogged, or if the pump might be the issue? Most Milwaukee tools usually come with a 5-year warranty, and even without a receipt, they can check the build date from the serial number. It’s worth a shot!
It sounds like the switch tank might be faulty, which is a common issue with these sprayers. I’d recommend reaching out directly to Milwaukee's customer service for advice. Good luck!
Ugh, I had a similar experience! I bought one too, and the tank had a cracked fitting. The rep replaced it, but it also stopped working quickly. Honestly, it seems like a hit or miss with these sprayers.
What did you spray with it? Be cautious if you used a vinegar solution, as it can damage the sprayer over time. I’ve had to replace multiple sprayers under warranty because of this.

That's a solid point! Make sure to give them the serial number when you contact them; they should be able to help you out.
