Hey everyone! I'm super new to gardening and I'm curious if I can grow lily of the valley in a small pot on my windowsill. I live near Seattle and want to know if this plant can thrive indoors, or if it needs specific conditions. Also, how long do they usually take to grow, and do they need constant sunlight and watering?

Lily of the valley isn’t really suited for indoor growth. You might see some leaves for a bit, but for them to actually bloom, they need a cold dormant phase usually only achievable outdoors. So, keeping them inside long-term probably won't work very well.
You could possibly grow them indoors temporarily, but they'll eventually need to go outside for a while to get that cool period necessary for blooming in the next season. Plus, just a heads up, they're pretty toxic to both humans and pets, so it's best to avoid having them inside if you have kids or furry friends running around.
