I'm moving to Costa Rica soon and need some advice on M18 top handle batteries. I've been looking at the FORGE 12Ah and HO 12Ah options but can't find clear comparisons. I'm not going to use them constantly, but they will see a fair amount of action over the next few years. Has anyone had firsthand experience with either of these batteries? I want to make sure I pick the right one!

If you're looking for more power and better life cycles, I'd definitely recommend going for the FORGE. Plus, the supercharger feature makes a big difference!
I snagged the FORGE 12Ah and 8Ah during last quarter's Home Depot sale for $250, and it was definitely worth it. I wouldn't drop $200 on a new HO 12Ah unless I'm in a tough spot at work and it's my only option.
Thanks for the insight! I was thinking along those lines. Batteries are crazy expensive these days, but I guess it’s a smart business model!
The HO 12Ah has some known balancing issues. It still works, but I trust the FORGE 12Ah way more. It’s a solid choice if you want reliability.
Thank you! Was hoping to avoid the $200-$250 price tag, but it might save me some headaches!

Thank you!
