I just ordered a vanity that has an open bottom design with four legs, and I'm planning to replace my bathroom floor with luxury vinyl plank (LVP). However, I noticed that the LVP warranty advises against installing cabinets on top of it. I know I have to use the vanity regardless, but I want to check if this setup could lead to any issues with the flooring in the long run. Any tips or experiences to share about how to avoid potential damage?

Hey! I installed a similar setup, and it worked out great. The open design of the vanity shouldn't cause any problems for your LVP, at least that was my experience! I even had it on there temporarily until I could do a proper tile setup, and it held up just fine.
I totally agree with others here! Just go for it—you're likely not going to see any issues down the line. I have an 900lb billiards table set up on top of some Flooret LVP without a hitch, so I think your vanity will be just fine!

Very good to know. Thank you!
