Can I Pot Up My New 9cm Perennials Before Planting Them?

I just received a bunch of 9cm perennials from an online sale, including salvias and nepeta. However, I'm not quite ready to plant them in the ground yet. Is it okay to pot them up temporarily and just wait until I can plant them? I'll be doing plenty of watering in the meantime!

Yes, you can definitely pot them up! I usually transfer my 9cm plants into 2L pots until I'm ready to put them in the ground. They'll be just fine!

That’s what I was thinking too! Sometimes it just takes a little common sense, but the heat can really make you second-guess things.
