Is It Safe to Install a Window AC in a Room That Opens to an Enclosed Porch?

I'm considering putting a window air conditioner in my bedroom's window, but the window leads to an enclosed back porch rather than directly outside. This porch has sealed windows and a radiator, so it's fully enclosed, not just a screened area. I'm aware the AC will vent hot air into the porch. My main concerns are whether this will harm my house or cause health issues, and if it could lead to mold or water problems in the porch area. Would this setup work?

Installing it could make the porch really humid. To help with that, think about keeping some windows in the porch open or using a window exhaust fan to vent out the warm air and moisture.

Yeah, it's definitely going to drip water from the AC into that enclosed porch. You'll probably want to keep an eye on that.

Also, keep in mind that your porch will likely get pretty humid as a result. Just something to think about!
