Hey everyone! I have a bit of a beginner's question about liquid fertilizer. Once I've mixed it with water, how much of this mixture should I actually be giving to my plants? I'm especially curious for indeterminate tomatoes, hot peppers, cucumbers, lettuce, radishes, and onions. Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I usually pour about half-strength fertilizer from my 2-gallon can directly around each plant, and it keeps them pretty happy! Just a heads up, I grow everything in containers so keep that in mind.
It's best to follow the instructions on your fertilizer packaging but it's safer to underapply a bit at first. You can always add more in a few days if needed!
I've found that 1 gallon of diluted fertilizer is a good rule of thumb for every 3 plants. Just gauge how your specific veggies are reacting to find what works best for you!
When I fertilize, I make sure to deeply water in the morning to wet the soil thoroughly and then apply the fertilizer in the evening. I generally use about a half gallon per plant but sometimes that's too much. I usually stick to about 2-4 cups per plant, pouring it in slowly. Remember, you don’t want to see it draining out from the bottom. Just check how your plants respond and you can always adjust later!
