I'm working on some stools and one of the seat pieces has a small knot that I'd like to fill with clear epoxy. I'm looking for suggestions on smaller quantities since I don't need a whole lot like the big tabletop epoxy kits. I noticed that Gorilla offers a small tube, but I've read mixed reviews about it drying cloudy instead of clear. Any recommendations?

Total Boat's 4-minute epoxy is another great option that dries clear and comes in smaller amounts. You can find it for a reasonable price!
Consider the JB Weld 5-minute epoxy in the mix syringe! It’s compact, affordable, and super easy to clean and store. Plus, it dries clear—and that’s important for your project! Just be sure to check out their website for more details.
Make sure to do a little test piece with whatever epoxy you choose! It's a good way to see how it cures and looks before you commit it to your main project.
Yeah, definitely going to do that! I’ve already put like two hours into this seat, so I want it to look right.
You might want to check out what model airplane enthusiasts use; they often work with smaller epoxy quantities. JB Weld has a ClearTop kit with 32 oz, but for your specific project, try some small kits of slow-setting epoxy from a home or hobby store. The slow-setting version allows for bubbles to escape while it cures.

Thanks! Does that one dry clear?
