Is the M12 Cut Off Tool a Good Substitute for the M18 Grinder?

I'm curious about whether the M12 Cut Off Tool can actually replace the M18 grinder for various tasks. I've heard mixed opinions, and I'm wondering if it's worth it to invest in a cutoff tool if I already have the grinder. What are the key differences in functionality between the two?

The M12 Cut Off Tool is great for cutting smaller materials, but it can't entirely replace the M18 grinder. If you're planning on using grinding discs or need versatility, stick with the grinder.

I wouldn't say it's a substitute. I've had mine jam if I push it too hard on tougher materials. They're both useful in different ways, so having both is ideal!

The M12 isn't a complete replacement but it handles cutting tasks for metal, plastic, and even drywall pretty well. It has better access in tight spaces compared to the grinder, which can be a game-changer for some jobs!
