I'm in a bit of a bind here! I recently lost my husband and I'm tackling DIY projects around the house on my own. I need to hang a vanity mirror in the bathroom, but there don't seem to be any studs behind the wall where I want to install it. Since I'm dealing with a manufactured home, I'm unsure what the best way to secure it is. I stumbled upon wall anchors online, but I'm not really sure how they work. I do know how to use a drill, but I'm worried about the wall not holding up. Any suggestions or advice on how to hang my mirror safely?

Hey there! Sorry to hear about your loss. When it comes to mobile homes, the drywall can be pretty flimsy. I've had success using toggle bolts for heavier items, as regular wall anchors often won't cut it. Just ensure you choose the right length—too long and they’re hard to tighten, too short and they won’t go through the drywall. Watch those holes too, but they’re designed that way for a reason!
You've got this! You can grab some drywall anchors at any home improvement store. They vary in weight capacity, so check the packaging—typically, they need a pilot hole drilled first, and the drill bit size will be listed on the box. Once you drill the hole, just insert the anchor and screw it in. If it sounds tricky, there are tons of helpful YouTube videos out there!

Thank you for the tips!
