What’s Your Go-To Dust Mask for Woodworking?

I'm curious about what kind of dust masks everyone uses for woodworking projects, especially if they're dealing with dust from sanding or finishes. What do you find works best?

For me, the 3M half-mask is a must. I really like the QuickLatch feature because it lets me drop the mask quickly when I need to take a sip of water or chat with someone. It’s super light and comfy too. I recommend the 6502Q model for medium; the 6501 is for small and 6503 for large.

Do you have fog issues at all?

I have a full face 3M mask since I have asthma. It doesn't completely eliminate my breathing issues, but it really helps a lot! Plus, it's nice not having dust in my eyes when I’m sanding.

I use a 3M half-face respirator with P100 cartridges. It's great for filtering out fine particles, especially if you're working with high VOC finishes. Just make sure to grab the vapor cartridges if you're dealing with those fumes instead of just the particulate ones.
