How Can I Fix My Wobbly Ceiling Fan?

Hey everyone! I'm dealing with a pretty significant wobble in my ceiling fan when it's on medium and high speeds. It's driving me a bit nuts! I found a video showing the issue, and I'm wondering if anyone has tips or tricks to help stabilize it. Thanks!

First off, try cleaning the fan blades — dust can sometimes cause wobbling. After that, check if the blades have any weight or pitch issues. You might want to swap the positions of a couple of blades to see if that helps. It can take a few tries to get it right. Lastly, consider getting a fan weight kit; it lets you add weight to one blade and move it around until the wobble stops. Good luck!

Thank you! I'll give that a try and see if it fixes it.

I always make sure to mount my fans really solidly. It's crucial that they’re secured well to the ceiling. If there's any movement at the mounting point, it can cause wobbling, especially at higher speeds. You might want to check that area and tighten anything that's loose.

Thanks! Can you please explain that for me? Should I be checking something at the point where it's mounted to the ceiling?
