How to Connect My Sungoldpower SPH8000 Inverter to My 200 Amp Panel?

I'm trying to figure out how to wire the "AC out" connections (L1, L2, N, G) from my Sungoldpower SPH8000 inverter to the main service lugs and the 200 amp breaker in my Square D Homeline load distribution panel. My electrician suggested that I can only connect through a 60 amp breaker and needs to bypass the 200 amp breaker completely, but I have my doubts. I want to power my whole house (which includes propane major appliances), a 50 amp RV, and a 30 amp RV while off-grid. I've managed to set up the battery connections and their breaker, as well as the PV array with its breaker. But after spending a good amount on this setup, I would like to ensure I can use more power than just that of my 5th wheel RV. Can anyone give me some advice or simple solutions as a non-electrician?

It sounds like there's a bit of confusion here between what your current setup can handle and what the electrician advised. If you’re operating completely off-grid, you shouldn't have to bypass the 200 amp breaker entirely. A 60 amp breaker can be part of your system, but you'll want to ensure that you're following electrical codes and not risking back-feeding into the grid if you're ever reconnected. Using a lock-out switch is a smart move if you want to prevent any back-feed issues. Most setups include devices that ensure you stay safely disconnected from the grid unless it's live.

Exactly! Just make sure you're not inadvertently connecting to the grid if you ever get power back. If you think the 200 amp panel should work with your inverter, look into whether you can get the right hardware to make that happen. You don't want to risk damaging your inverter or appliances!
