I'm on the hunt for a fertilizer that works well for most indoor houseplants that aren't flowering or fruiting. I'm also curious about what fertilizers are best for plants that are grown in water. I've checked out TikTok, but I keep running into those videos where creators earn commission, and I feel like I can't trust those recommendations. Any suggestions?

Look for fertilizers that include both macro and micronutrients, as most plants aren’t too picky! Just keep in mind, fertilizers are like vitamins for plants; they need them but not in huge amounts. Too much can actually burn the roots, so make sure you’re balancing it right and giving your plants plenty of light for optimal growth.
When choosing a fertilizer, it's important to consider where you are since availability can vary. For example, in the UK, I use Tomorite for my Bird of Paradise and Miracle-Gro for my hungrier plants like Ficus and Hoya. A lot of my plants don’t actually need extra fertilizer thanks to worm casts in my soil, which already provides slow-release nutrients. Don't forget, too much fertilizer can actually harm your plants, so it’s better to focus on good light and proper care too!
You might want to try GT Foliage Focus or Fox Farm Big Bloom! I’ve had great results with Big Bloom, but just a heads up, if you’re growing in water, make sure to grab the hydroponic version since the regular one won't work for water plants. Let me know if you give it a shot!
I personally use Schultz 10-15-10, and it works wonders for me! It's pretty versatile and should help you achieve that growth you're looking for.

Fox Farm Big Bloom has never let me down either, it’s definitely the go-to for many! Just remember, the right formula is key for your setup!
