Hey everyone! I'm thinking about getting a battery-powered lawn mower, but I want to hear from those of you who already have one. What are your main complaints or issues with it? I'm looking to pull the trigger on a purchase this weekend, so any insights would be super helpful!

I really enjoy my OG mower! The main downside is it’s not self-propelled, so if the grass is too thick, I sometimes have to stop to clear the bag. It’s really tough and pretty low maintenance though! Just wish the grass bag was a tad bigger, but dumping it isn't a hassle because my city picks up yard waste now. Honestly, better than my old gas mower!

I’ve been tempted to grab a Gen I too for smaller jobs; they were solid mowers.

I picked up a Gen I secondhand and it's been awesome! Just need to replace the blade at some point.

You're gonna get different opinions since DeWalt has multiple generations of mowers. The Gen 1 20V had issues, but the newer models like the 60V ones are really solid. I personally think the 60V tools are way better for handling yard work than the 20V stuff!

Definitely! I upgraded to a Gen III 60V, and the performance is on another level.

I had a rough experience with the Gen 1 20V, but I've heard the latest models are way better.

I’ve got the 20V model and honestly, my main problem is when I let the grass get too long and wet, which is on me. It just struggles more in those conditions. But overall, it’s done a decent job!

Yup, same issue here with the 20v. Just gotta keep the grass trimmed, I guess.
