Can I Use Attachments on a 20V String Trimmer for Tough Weeds?

I'm wondering if there are any attachments for a 20V string trimmer that can handle thicker weeds, or am I better off going for the 60V model? Specifically, I'm interested in options like a 10-inch blade or a steel brush cutter. What's the deal?

Honestly, for really thick weeds, gas trimmers are still king. I've got a couple of powerful ones with attachments like brush cutter discs and even a DR string mower that can tackle anything. Battery trimmers struggle with that level of overgrowth, so I'd say stick with gas unless you’re okay with lower performance.

There are some battery models out there that can handle tougher jobs, just know they'll come with a higher price tag. Check out these new 60V trimmers if you're considering switching from gas!

From what I've seen, 20V trimmers really can't take attachments like the 60V ones can. I’m in the same boat trying to decide whether to get a 20V or just bite the bullet for the 60V to get that extra power. The 60V trimmer might be more pricey since you'd need to buy the tool too, but it sounds like a solid investment for heavy-duty jobs.
