Hey everyone! I applied a coat of Osmo 3043 to my slab after sanding it to 240 grit. After letting it dry for over 10 hours, I sanded it down to 300 grit and then cleaned it with mineral spirits. The mineral spirits seem to be taking forever to dry, and some areas are looking cloudy. I'm really worried that I might have ruined my slab. Can anyone help me figure this out?

It sounds like you might be confusing drying and curing! Even if the oil finish feels dry to the touch in a few hours, it can still take weeks to fully cure. Curing means it won't dissolve in solvents anymore. So don’t stress too much; your slab might just need some extra time!
Make sure you didn't apply too thick of a coat of mineral spirits. They should soak into the wood rather than sitting on top. If they’re just sitting there, you could try using a clean rag to wipe away the excess and see if that helps it dry faster!
Thanks for the tip! I used mineral spirits, not mineral oil, so I'll definitely check the thickness.

Got it! So, what do you recommend I do in the meantime?
